HEY THERE. I'M DANI.
I am a therapist committed to collaborating with adults, teens, couples & artists to help you uncover (or rediscover) your most authentic selves. I am a proud Health at Every Size (HAES)® provider who is passionate about working with individuals who have experienced confusion, anxiety or shame about their identity, bodies or relationships with food.
I know how hard finding a therapist can be. I commend you for taking this first step. Whether you're struggling with Body Image, Creative Blocks or Work/Life Balance, I will support you in fully showing up for yourself so that you can become your most authentic you.
My background in the arts has deeply informed my therapeutic work--which is often from a strengths-based, humanistic approach. I also practice the power of play & humor within the therapeutic space!
I am proud to be a part of Intuitive Healing Psychotherapy--a group practice in New York City providing effective psychotherapy for adults, teens, couples, and families.
I am a frequent collaborator with a therapeutic theater organization- Recovery Through Performance--whose mission is to serve persons on their recovery journey through theater and drama therapy, helping them transform into being the actors and directors of their own authentic lives.
I also work with Balance Eating Disorder Treatment Center in NYC where I help facilitate therapeutic groups for those in recovery from anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and other disordered eating behaviors and body image issues.
“Dani’s office feels like a safe haven for me to be myself. She’s fun, but she gets me to look at myself and my life in ways that challenge me. Therapy can be hard, and with Dani, I want to keep showing up for myself.” - Client Reference
