Hey there!

I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor and registered drama therapist passionate about working with individuals who experience confusion, anxiety or shame about their body or relationship with food. My work is rooted in Body Liberation, Health at Every Size (HAES)®, Fat Positive and Body Trust® frameworks and I aim to hold space with authenticity, honesty, humor and playfulness. I believe in the power of taking hold of our past, present and future body narratives and become the storytellers of our own lives.

My background in the arts has deeply informed my work as a therapist--in my previous career I was a performer, playwright & theater director--working with both performers and non-performers to create artistic work about body image, eating disorder recovery, community and identity.

As a drama therapist, I am a frequent collaborator with Recovery Through Performance(RTP)--a therapeutic theater company which utilizes the CoActive Therapeutic Theater (CoATT), the first manualized model of therapeutic theater. RTP is currently engaged in on-going research (led by Dr. Laura Wood and Dave Mowers) to explore the CoATT model with recovery communities including individuals living with eating disorders, substance use disorders, and brain trauma.
